Permanent Recruitment

The measure of a good recruitment consultancy must be the quality and suitability of the staff it places. At Alex Harp, all our consultants adhere to a series of in-depth procedures and assessment techniques to ascertain work-history, aptitude as well as career aspirations and motivations. In conjunction with this, verbal or written references are obtained where possible from previous employers.

Through our extensive understanding of our clients' organisation, culture and structure we are able to thoroughly brief all candidates prior to interview ensuring that the character and objectives of both parties are compatible.

Alex Harp would encourage the use of temporary/locum staff as interim cover of key positions during the permanent recruitment process to ensure continuity within the department.

Temporary and Locum/Contract Recruitment

"Temporary" members of staff are retained on an hourly basis and Alex Harp undertakes all administration and payroll responsibilities. A booking can be as short as a day or it can be extended for any length of time, depending on your needs.

"Locum/Contract" staff are assigned for a minimum of 1 month and a set period of time; the client undertakes all administration and payroll responsibilities.

In recent years the demand for a flexible workforce in an environment experiencing both rapid change and increasing skill shortages has risen in line with the Irish economy. All our temporary/locum candidates are interviewed, referenced and assessed as thoroughly as permanent candidates.
